Dr.Rodger Sykes joined MMIC solutions in March 2006. He has a global background in high technology in both small and large companies. Prior to MMIC solutions he was a founder and CEO at SiConnect Ltd, and before that President and CEO at picoChip in Bath (UK).

From 1990 to 2002 he lived in the US including senior management positions with Texas Instruments, Philips Semiconductors and latterly with LogicVision Inc including their IPO in 2000.

Dr Sykes has a PhD. in Device Physics and a BSc. in Electronics & Applied Physics from the University of Durham (UK).

Has over 30 years experience in the development and marketing of medical devices and diagnostics. He has, throughout his career, been associated with the successful commercial introduction of new technology, inter alia, enzyme immunoassay, monoclonal antibody cell culture, serological testing for tuberculosis, HIV, HTLV and Lyme disease, random access clinical chemistry, endoluminal culture of central venous catheters and saliva-based testing for HIV. He was a founder of FAS Medical Ltd., Trinity Biotech plc and Cambridge Biotech Corp. and has been the principal executive officer in a number of IPO, secondary public offerings and Private Placement Offerings in the USA, Canada and the UK. Tony’s academic career included seven years as Head of Microbiology and Immunology at the Midhurst Medical Research Institute in Sussex, England, and he is the author of several scientific papers and patents.

Jean-François brings more than 15 years of experience in the telecom and start-up sector. Jean-François was responsible for setting up new telecom operational ventures in Russia and Colombia for Alcatel. Following which he became General Manager International Operations for Belgacom. Before joining the founding of 21Net, he was General Manager of Network Services for Alcatel UK. Jean-François holds a Law degree from Louvain University in Belgium (KUL) and a LLM from New York University and started his career with the international law firm of Coudert Brothers working in New York, Paris and Brussels.
